    Who we accept contributions from

    If you are a travel blogger looking to strengthen your EAT value we offer do-follow links back to your site. Become a regular contributor and we will even give you your own contributor profile.

    Are you starting off on your travel writing career and need some of your content published as a reference? We would love to hear from you too.

    Do you simply like to travel and write about your adventures? Feel free to get in contact.

    Do we pay contributors?

    Unfortunately, at this point in time, we are not paying for guest articles. As in the words of the Carpenters "We've only just begun".

    That's not to say we won't in the future.

    When we are in the position to pay contributors, priority will be given to travel bloggers and writers we have worked with previously.

    All published articles will include an author bio with a link to your blog, website, and/or social media profile/s.

    Australian Luxury Traveller is a luxury travel blog. Our target audience is travellers for whom money is no object, and travellers who want to experience the luxe life on a beer budget.

    The pitching process

    1. Make sure you read our submission guideline.
    2. Make sure the topic hasn't been covered before.
    3. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page.
    4. If you have multiple pitches please submit one form per pitch.
    5. After hearing from you we will be in contact with a "yes" or "no" to your pitch.
    6. If you are a "yes" we will send you a guideline on image sizes and format to submit content.

    Submission guideline

    1. Articles must be original and your own work. We aren't fans of plagiarism around here.
    2. Submissions are not to be published elsewhere in the past or future, including your blog/website.
    3. The length of the article should be between 750-1500 words.
    4. Content should be luxury travel related as per our guideline above.
    5. All submissions are to contain your first-hand experiences.
    6. Travel written about must have taken place in the past 18 months.
    7. Do spell check your work!
    8. We reserve the right to edit submissions and reject ones of poor quality.
    9. Links are subject to approval and will be removed if they are not relevant to the article. Do not include affiliate links.
    10. Include a short bio (up to 100 words) and a photo of yourself to be published with your article.
    11. Submit at least 3 images for the body of the article and one featured image.
    12. You must have the right to use all photos submitted. Our preference is for photos you have taken yourself. Include a photo caption with photo credit at the end of the article.
